After a major consultative review last academic year, we have launched a suite of three new modern language pathways for 2018-19, General, Academic and Fast Track. The overall name of the three pathways is Languages for All. This completely replaces the previous longstanding LASR and OPAL courses. Our Academic English courses continue to be on offer, but with new simpler course titles. The Language Centre will launch a completely new range of modern language courses this week for students and staff at the University. The Languages For All programme includes courses in 12 languages from beginner to advanced stages. General and Fast Track options are available, depending on learners’ needs – replacing the former LASR and OPAL courses. A range of Academic English courses will also continue to be on offer.
