Hooray! We can finally holiday in Japan again! For me, and certainly to those like-minded travellers out there, this is definitely the best news to hear since COVID-19 broke out 2 years ago. As announced by the Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on 22 September, Japan will be fully reopening its borders starting today on 11 October! This means all tourists activities are resumed back to the stage prior COVID-19 where total tourist numbers are not capped, visa-free travel is resumed, and FITs are allowed to return.
