Any recommendations for a low density self-sufficient community in Northern AZ in close proximity to game/agriculture food sources and residents with diverse skills? I spent two years checking Southern Arizona but couldn't find anything suitable for a homestead. submitted by /u/arizonaNWO [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Any ideas on a good place to watch the Suns game tomorrow? My fiance and I are looking for a place where we can sit for the whole game and maybe enjoy a bite to eat. I understand that's some of you might want to give away your secret place, but if anybody is willing to share a good spot, let me know! I'm located in Mesa but willing to travel around the valley. submitted by /u/Gonzalr3 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Fun things within 30ish minutes of Phoenix to do with 6 coworker friends from June - Nov

Myself and 6 other young adult coworker friends are going to be working in the Phoenix area from June until November this year. I'm trying to make a list of fun stuff for us all to do together. We aren't super close as we haven't worked together in person yet, but I'm looking for things that could be fun and help us get closer as the project continues. 30ish minutes or less far away from phoenix is just the ideal but if there's something really fun/cool a bit further away than that then that's totally cool. Thanks! submitted by /u/Enough_Parking_4830 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Best Route from Albuquerque to Tempe?
Reddit | Arizona

My family and I are driving from Indiana to Palm Springs. We are spending tonight in Albuquerque and tomorrow night in Tempe. My question is, what is the best route to take from ABQ to Tempe? It looks like we will be driving over a mountain range. Apple Maps is offering me three different routes. I wonder what route locals prefer? It sounds like high winds are forecast for tomorrow and some snow. But I wasn't sure if the snow would impact our drive or not. Thanks for your help. submitted by /u/BtownLocal [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
