    While Daniel and I aren’t the most responsible when it comes to packing for an upcoming trip, we definitely have our last minute routines. Laundry is done the day before so that we can select which items to pack for ourselves, as well as for Lila Sophia. As we switch out the loads of clothing, I tend to pace back and forth selecting toiletries, makeup, and books.       Buster is my number one lady. She is the first dog I ever adopted, just before I graduated college. When I drove two hours to meet her I just knew we were a good fit. At the time her caregiver called her TJ DAWG…that had to change. Buster might be a boy’s name but it suits her perfectly. I’ll never forget how she reacted when she first met Sampson! Almost 8 years ago, I found a silly little puppy stumbling around the middle of the road on my way to work. Osa was teeny tiny, and had an infected spot on her tail, which was only the beginning of her little quirks. But since entering our home, she has always had a canine sibling…until a month ago. Sampson was Daniel’s best friend. He adopted Sam in college and often referred to him as a brother, which always stood out to me, since I always thought of Buster as more of a child. One of the first times I met Sammy, Daniel and I took him to a park out in College Station. As we were slowly pulling out of the park area, there was a bunny on the side of the road and Sam jumped from the back seat, over me, and out the passenger window to chase it.
