Remember when we were kids and used to play video games?
These games were always excellent for entertainment irrespective of whether we play them alone or with some friends. Rather than buying a new cycle or a bat, we were ready to sacrifice our pocket money on the new PlayStation model.
But 21st-century virtual world gaming is entirely different from what we used to experience. Today, gaming is a social phenomenon. It is a part of our social life, and to some, it is their alternative reality.
It reminds me of a dialogue from the movie Ready Player One:

Scalability is one of the main bottlenecks that blockchains of today’s world face.
Most would agree, wouldn’t you?
But at the same time, some won’t. Some of you might argue that blockchains like NEO, LISK, and EOS have solved the scalability problem. Reason being the fact that they are scalable to do 1000s of transactions per second.
I do agree with that.
But the lesser known fact is, many of these blockchains have compromised decentralization to achieve that scalability.
Ethereum, however, stands out amongst them and keeps the base layer decentralized.

As most of you know, altcoins are the alternatives to Bitcoin.
And in the last two years, altcoins have risen sharply. Take a look at the chart below, and you will understand why I say so.
In early 2017, Bitcoin’s domination index was at 85% of the total market cap of cryptosphere which had fallen to 31% in early 2018 before rising back to over 50%.
Do you know why?
Well, that was because many investors started trusting other coins for better investment returns, which started a race of fundamental analysis of various altcoins in the market.

Over the years, we have seen numerous blockchain platforms aiming to launch self-sufficient smart contracts and DApps.

And if you have paid attention, one of the main themes of 2018 has been about governable blockchains.
Why governable?
Well, because blockchains like Ethereum, NEO or Qtum aren’t self-governed and hence have much reliability on few human players for ..read more
