Only three weeks after revealing The Uncanny X-Men, Stern Pinball revealed another ‘new’ game: Metallica Remastered. The game is an upgraded version of the Metallica game from 2013. The new Metallica game is only available in a Premium and Limited Edition (500 units). The 40th edition of Pinball Expo is upon us and Pinball Magazine will try to report on a daily basis from the event. As Pinball News is reporting from the event as well, including all videos of recorded seminars (in which Pinball Magazine is assisting), this report will be more of a personal diary. Monday, October 14, 2024: Travel day. Flew from Amsterdam to Dublin, and from Dublin to Chicago. Clearing customs in Dublin was surprisingly easy, no lines whatsoever. With Stern Pinball attending IAAPA Europe 2024 in Amsterdam, the Dutch Pinball Museum jumped on the occasion to host an evening with Gary Stern. Pinball Magazine was present to report on the events. Considering that Amsterdam time is seven hours ahead of Chicago, the Stern Pinball delegation arrived the weekend before IAAPA Europe. The ABBA Arrival LE cabinet Swedish pinball manufacturer Pinball Brothers just revealed the first images of its ABBA pinball machine, three days before the official launch of the game. According to the press release, the game is available in a Voyage Collector Edition (300 units, MSRP 10,995 USD) and an Arrival Limited Edition (500 units, MSRP 9,995 USD).
