Hell’s Kitchen is the latest Gordon Ramsay restaurant to hit the Vegas dining scene, and it’s a doozy. Located in front of Caesar’s Palace, in the building that used to house Serendipidity 3, the design of Hell’s Kitchen is clearly inspired by it’s namesake reality TV show. Inside, a large video screen, featuring a life size Ramsay welcoming patrons to the restaurant, set’s the tone. The kitchen itself is split into two sides, Red and Blue and the kitchen is run by head chef and season 17 Hell’s Kitchen winner, Michelle Tribble. The restaurant offers modern lunch and dinner menus and features ..read more

Black Tap

Black Tap at The Venetian NYC’s successful craft burgers and beer joint has expended it’s reach to Las Vegas. Housed in the space left by the closure of Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich’s B&B Burger & Beer, Black Tap brings with it a reputation for awesome burgers, CrazyShake milkshakes, and craft beer. We recently stopped by for lunch to see if it was Top10 worthy. The first thing we noticed about Black Tap is the very bold décor. Lots of neon mixed with bold, black and white designs and urban artwork give the space a slightly trippy, nightclub-ish feel. The second thing we noticed w ..read more

Las Vegas restaurant week is back. Running June 18th 2018 through June 29th 2018 it’s time to “help out by dining out” at some of the best restaurants in town. Over 150 restaurants are participating offering exclusive prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus. The best part of restaurant week is that a portion of the proceeds from each meal is donated to Three Square food bank. We decided to kick things off with a casual lunch at Yardbird Southern Table and Bar. We went with a simple starter salad, the chicken sandwich and a turtle pecan brownie for dessert. As usual, the food and atmosphere was wonder ..read more

Reasons to Love Lunch at Mesa Grill

Over the years, we have been lucky to dine at Mesa Grill several times. We love the casual yet upscale feel and the focus on southwestern cuisine means that your taste buds are always in for a treat. If you are dining as a couple but don’t want to feel crowded, ask the hostess if they have a four-top available. This is a request they can usually accommodate during lunch service and you’ll appreciate the extra space. Dining at Mesa Grill doesn’t have to be a budget buster; some of the lunch items like the burgers cost under $20, which isn’t bad for a celebrity-branded restaurant in the heart of ..read more

You can now enjoy Cracker Barrel’s made-from-scratch biscuits in Las Vegas! The famous old country store just opened its first Nevada location, outside the Silverton Hotel. Serving breakfast (all day), lunch, and dinner the restaurant is open 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. There has been a lot of buzz in the buildup to the store’s opening, resulting in a very busy opening week. We checked in around noon on a Thursday and the wait for a table was well over one hour. While waiting for a table, guests can peruse the gift shop or relax on the ..read more

With a year of stellar openings nearly to a close, let us take a look back at which restaurants made 2015 a great year for dining in Vegas. Some of the most high profile restaurants in town are less than a year old, and with even more that have just opened in these last weeks of 2015, it was certainly a boon year. The most recent openings (Harvest, Herringbone, Mr. Chow’s, Jardin, Costa di Mare, and F.Pigalle) are a little too green to properly assess, but for the rest of the year, these were the best. [ad] Love him or loathe him, there is no denying Gordon Ramsay knows how to run a restaurant. This may not be one of his heralded Michelin rated ventures, but it is a great place to enjoy a juicy burger in the center of the Strip. We love the casual, yet lively, atmosphere and appreciate the price point which offers visitors the opportunity to eat at a celebrity chef restaurant without breaking the bank. We have dined here multiple times; most recently on a busy Monday afternoon. The wait time for a table was approximately 45 minutes but the restaurant has a convenient check-in system, so a l ..read more

Vegas nightlife certainly has an anchor in nightclubs, but there are plenty of options for those who prefer to lounge. 1. Mandarin Bar Photo Courtesy of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Local A-listers head to the spectacular Mandarin Bar, for its stunning Strip views via floor-to-ceiling windows, and elite crowd. Located on the 23rd floor of the five-star Mandarin Oriental, expect to be escorted into the hotel and led to the interior decorated-elevator. Once inside the bar, it feels like the kind of place you’d order champagne, but its cocktails are tasty, too. They have an interesting take on ..read more
