This year has brought some fun already with travel and it’s only February! Last weekend I headed to the Windy City for a quick trip to visit with a friend. Hi friends! It’s been a minute! I am really trying to get back into writing more but man, life is just so busy right now!  I was able to get away to Nashville for the weekend and had a fantastic time! I stayed at the beautiful Fairlane Hotel downtown and it was amazing!  We were greeted with champagne- I mean, stop right there! Greeted with champagne at check-in? Today’s post is all about this beautiful hotel that I stayed in last week when I went to Austin!  Hotel Granduca is out of the city in Hill Country and you can see the Austin downtown skyline from the hotel. I played tourist in Dallas last weekend and man, did I ever have a great time! I had some friends from Michigan come for a visit and on their list was Deep Ellum so guess where we spent the day? Deep Ellum! Waco has been on my list to visit for a few years. It’s really only a couple of hours away from me and not too far to drive there and back in a day if I really wanted to. I finally decided to take the long weekend and check it out! We left on Sunday and came back on Monday which was Presidents Day.  I will show you all everything that we did and saw while we were in Waco.
