PASTOR and bestselling author John Piper recently explained why Satan can wield such immense power over the spiritual world, especially when it comes to blinding people to the Gospel. In a recent episode of his “Ask Pastor John” podcast, Piper, the 78-year-old chancellor of Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota, said he receives more questions about Satan than any other biblical topic. Piper acknowledged the mysterious nature of these questions, noting that though the Bible hints at Satan’s fall from grace as a rebellious angel, the exact motives remain elusive. “There are h ..read more

THERE is only one path forward for the embattled prime minister of Israel: the return of the hostages taken during the Oct. 7, massacre and the complete elimination of the terrorist organization known as Hamas. As the world recoiled from the horrors observed as Hamas paraded the dead bodies of young Israeli women through the streets, many said it was only a matter of time until the media, and the world, would turn against Israel in their retaliatory strikes against those who carried out the worst massacre of the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Now, as the International Criminal Court in the ..read more

By Ray Comfort THERE are four essential ingredients that help a young plant send down its roots, grow branches, and produce fruit: sunlight, good soil, nutrients, and water. Our desire should be to see new converts produce fruit, and there are certain spiritual ingredients that can foster growth. Here are some that will help new believers grow in grace: 1. By Michael Brown NO, I don’t believe for a split second that suddenly, college students all over America really care about the plight of the Palestinians. I don’t believe this any more than, a few years ago, people around the globe were suddenly concerned about the plight of Black Americans when they marched for BLM. Not a chance. Instead, this is just the latest manifestation of raging against the machine, of standing up to “the man.” As expressed by Khymani James, one of the Columbia University anti-Israel protest leaders who is Black and identifies as trans, non-binary, and queer, just as ..read more

Creation vs Evolution: Ask Jesus!

By Bob Russell I do not profess to be an expert in the ongoing debate between creationism and evolution. The prevalent arguments in both educational and theological spheres often seem trivial. Maybe I am a simpleton, but I have three primary reasons that I believe in the creation narrative in the book of Genesis. First, the concept of a creator just makes sense. If you attend an elaborate Kentucky Derby party and see a spectacular ice sculpture of a horse, would you wonder how it was crafted? Would you consider whether the artist may have purchased several bags of ice at the store, poured them ..read more
