The Richey Suncoast Theatre at 6237 Grand Blvd. is hosting presentations of the 1978 classic “Superman: The Movie” at 8.00pm on Friday, May 24 and at 2.00pm and 8.00pm on Saturday, May 25. Based on the comic book series “Superman: Red Son”, an alien ship crash lands in the Soviet Union in the 1960s. James Gunn has revealed that he’s already editing together scenes for the upcoming “Superman” movie, even though the production is still in the early stages of filming. When asked if it was normal to be editing together footage while they were still shooting, Gunn responded by saying, “When shooting a movie for five months it’s really normal to edit.
