Summer is here and it was so lovely to start my first Summer Art Club session with some summer scenes.
The kids created beautiful vibrant tropical scenes in acrylics on canvas and did such a lovely job I just have to show off their work with you.
I demonstrated how to blend colours on the canvas and we practised fading and blending the sky with either oranges and yellows or pinks and blues. Gorgeous start!!
Next...we began blending white into blue to create waves in the sea and added a reflection of the sun in the sea below sea with bright yellows. Wow! They did a really great job.
