I personally have been wanting a way for Starbucks to incorporate peanut butter in the drinks, mainly a Frappuccino. Was wondering if anyone else felt the same way or is that just crazy talk? ? submitted by /u/KenKhaotic [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Confusing offer?

Usually when I get an offer like this it’s item 1 + item 2. Is this implying that I would need to order 2 iced lattes together or is this simply a glitch? submitted by /u/Chibi_Beaver [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Partners, feedback?

So I’m a 2 almost 3 yr partner, been a SSV for roughly 2 years and tbh I’m grateful for my job and what Starbucks has done for me , working in fast food other than being short staffed they’ve been very compliant with me , my other 2 stores were iffy but my new store I’m happy at. But to get to my point, I work at sbux for my money and benefits not because I “preach” sbux. Why do I need to be careful about stating where I work, and watch out for people I will “offend”. A literally professor told me fuck you and fuck sbux, like what did I do? I’m not the billion dollar corporation I’m just one ..read more

Slaved for the siren for 5 years. I’ve been at 3 different stores. I was lucky enough to receive a bachelors degree through the Starbucks college achievement plan, and will be going into the mental health field with my psychology degree!! I’ve seen a lot of changes happen in this company over the years, but nothing like the downfall that has occurred in recent history. I’m so glad to be getting out now!!! Happy to be demoting myself to customer ?? submitted by /u/calijasar0 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

No More Iced Coffee?
Reddit | Starbucks

So in the last week I have been to three different Starbucks and told by two locations in different parts of my city that starbucks is changing the formula/beans for their iced coffee and that it is not available at the moment. One of the Starbucks I went to had no idea what I was talking about. Is this true? If so, does anyone have any idea how long it will be gone. This is my go to drink that I order on a weekly basis ? Thank you for any insight! submitted by /u/ContactPrestigious90 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Write up for not writing in the My Daily?

So we got a new manager recently and she's really big on making sure everyone reads the weekly post she does. "We're down 2 points in food quality, what can we do to raise that?" Type thing. I don't mind it, I like looking at the numbers. I just hate writing in it myself, I have little need as a barista and it takes time to log in and do so. Today she told us that she wants us to read them, log in and respond to her question first thing before we get onto the floor. Her questions so far are along the lines of "What does going above and beyond for the customer look like to you?" And "What does ..read more

What do y’all do with orders that no one picks up?

This is embarrassing but I mobile ordered a drink today for in store pick up but when I went in I realized that I went into the wrong store, where I, of course, was the only customer. So naturally, me being the socially-awkward/anxious person that I am felt too embarrassed to just walk out so I ordered the same drink. By the time I got it, I was running late for work and decided to just leave the drink I originally ordered on mobile. I just felt bad that someone had to make it for no reason during the BOGO times. So this is my long winded way of asking what happens with the orders no one pick ..read more

All these shaken drinks giving us arthritis in our wrists

I noticed ever since we've been make more and more shaken drinks (refreshers, iced matcha latte, shaken espressos..) that the amount of people at my store who have gotten arthritis in their wrists is crazy. Our age's: 46, then 35, then 30, 29, and 22 which to me seems young to me. I've never had any issues with my wrists prior to all this shaking lol Two of the crew have to wear wrist braces and can rarely be on bar. I love being on bar so I'm trying to get in the habit of shaking more in the elbows but then I'm wondering if I'm gonna get arthritis in my elbows next ahaaaa submitted by /u/Mo ..read more
