It's no secret that Mexico produces some of the finest specialty coffee in the world, and that statement definitely rings true for this sensational coffee from Bankilal.
This coffee was grown in the Tenejapa municipality of Los Altos de Chiapas, an area predominantly inhabited by the Tzeltal indigenous communities. The area is known for producing extremely high quality specialty coffee, thanks in part to the elevated altitudes the coffee is grown at. Many traditional varieties are still cultivated in this region, including Typica & Bourbon, which offer complex attributes in the c ..read more

TRY THIS INCREDIBLE NEW COFFEE
Last year, we worked with our import partners at Karst Organics to bring two coffees from Timor-Leste to our roastery as part of our Washed vs Natural pack. These coffees ended up being one of the highlights of the year for us, so when the season rolled around again this year, we just had to bring to bring one of those coffees back.
So we reached out to Karst Organics and managed to secure Eratoi's incredible washed coffee for 2024. But before we talk about the coffee, let's take a look at Timor-Leste and find out a little bit about their history.

It won't surprise you to learn that we supply many amazing coffee shops across the Scottish islands, and the Isle of Skye is one of those places. Earlier this week we hopped in the Dear Green mobile and made our way through the Scottish Highlands, up to Fort William and then onwards to Skye, to visit some of the amazing places serving our coffee.
After what is probably the most scenic road trip in Scotland we arrived at our first stop, The Wildcat in Fort William. A fully vegan cafe, focused on environmental impact and sustainability (something we can definitely get on board with), The W ..read more

Late last year our founder Lisa was approached with an interesting proposition! How would she like to be on the cover of Barista Magazine and tell the full Dear Green story from the very beginning? Of course the answer was....ABSOLUTELY! Fast forward a few months, a few photographs and interviews later, Lisa now graces the cover of the February/March edition of Barista Magazine.
We'll let Lisa take it from here!
Hiding behind a coffee machine or behind closed doors whilst roasting coffee has always been my preferred place. I definitely didn’t ever expect to be a cover feat ..read more
