In 2012, right when boudoir photography was starting to take off and become a “thing,” Jamie Pfister (Owner) and her younger sister, Lindsey Gregory-Caldwell (Photographer/Set Designer/Social Media), agreed to do a “sexy photoshoot” for one of Lindsey’s friends. By the end of that session, Jamie and Lindsey realized two very important things - the photoshoot made Lindsey’s friend feel really good about herself, and the experience was SO MUCH FUN! That was all it took for Jamie and Lindsey to realize that they wanted to provide this amazing experience to as many women in the Nashville, TN, area ..read more

Hey, Friends! Courtney Bell here. I’m one of The Adore Girls’ boudoir photographers, along with Jamie Pfister and Lindsey Gregory-Caldwell. As professional photographers, we are often asked by our clients which colors of lingerie are best to wear for a boudoir photo shoot, and our answer is usually, “Whichever colors you feel are the most flattering for your skin tone and hair color.” However, the majority of women (ourselves included) are never really 100% sure what their true best colors are. That’s why I’m here today to introduce a fun and informative color analysis website and correspondin ..read more

All of us here at The Adore Girls’ boudoir photography studio in Nashville, TN, have at least a little bit of interest in astrology and horoscopes. We especially love learning about all the different personality traits of the 12 signs of the Zodiac, which recently got us thinking…
How could each of the Zodiac signs be portrayed by our Adore Girls?
So, just for fun, we did a little online research (meaning we read this awesome article by Aliza Kelly Faragher on Allure.com), and managed to curate a collection of boudoir photos featuring past Adore Girls in poses that we feel represent each astro ..read more

It is typical for professional photography studios to primarily use either high key (bright) or low key (dark) lighting for their boudoir sessions, depending on how their studios are set up. However, one of the many features that makes The Adore Girls’ Nashville boudoir photography studio so unique is the fact we are able to offer BOTH styles of lighting (and then some) to accommodate all of our clients’ unique aesthetic preferences, be it dark & moody, light & airy, or a mix of both!

It wasn’t too long ago that we published a blog titled, “There’s No Such Thing As Plus Size Boudoir,” which we still firmly believe because The Adore Girls do not photograph women any differently based on their size. In fact, we aren’t even fans of using terms like “plus size,” “mid size,” “curvy,” etc. However, as it turns out, “plus size” and “curvy” are some of the top searched terms used by women who are researching boudoir photography online. So, unless we include these specific keywords on our website, The Adore Girls’ Nashville boudoir studio is not likely to show up in search results ..read more

Here at The Adore Girls’ Nashville boudoir photography studio, one of the questions we often hear when it comes to booking a boudoir session, especially from women who are single or don’t have any particular need to create a gift, is, “What am I supposed to do with the boudoir photos afterwards?” It’s an excellent question, actually, and we are more than happy to explain a variety of ways in which people choose to keep, share, display, and enjoy their gorgeous boudoir photos well after their photo shoots.
