Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas, and received the Bachelor of Arts from University of Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi, Texas, and the Bachelor of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.

A small Xhosa-speaking community in Peddie that has benefited from new ostrich farms in the region. A Zimbabwean Baptist man runs a business that allows small-scale farmers to raise ostriches, generating new income in an area with a history of poverty and oppression. IMB missionaries have been able to partner with him to add to the spiritual dimension to the project.
