Last week 6 more people graduated from the missionary training program we have been a part of these past several years. It’s exciting for us to see the Lord raising up these tribal believers for ministry. It’s also humbling to come along side them so that they can follow their call to go make disciples of all nations. For these graduates the memory of being in spiritual darkness without hope is a recent memory. All dressed up for church on Easter Sunday, where in Mexico it is traditional to wear white. He is Risen! Back in February, we mentioned a series of seven upcoming CLA evaluations: check-in milestones for newer missionaries studying Mexican culture and Spanish. One family’s medical situation delayed their evals (everyone is okay!), so only the first five were completed on that schedule. One of the first things we did when we arrived in town last week for our break was go to the lab at the hospital to get Lance’s PSA test. The results were ready that afternoon. Last month we put out a plea for prayer on social media about an aviation fuel shortage in Papua New Guinea.  Our planes and helicopters are dependent upon uninterrupted fuel supplies to service missionaries living & ministering in remote locations among unreached people throughout the country.  No fuel means that there will be no flights to provide our personnel with necessary supplies for their monthly needs. It is with grateful hearts that we share with you that my mom, Sue Watters, went to be with Jesus yesterday.  Ginger and Sue I, Ginger, am so thankful that we returned to the States when we did.  When we first got back, Mom was doing pretty well, and we were able to spend some time together.  Her joy was to teach children, and she was still teaching two weekly Bible clubs in local schools, as well as teaching the story in Awana each week in her church.  Her goal was to be able to finish these times of teaching, and to be able to finish the month of March well.  And God ..read more

Thank you so much for praying for us over the past month. Galilee had a botox treatment as scheduled. The neurologist agreed that there isn’t much reason to be on so many medications if the migraines have stayed about the same. So Galilee has gone off one medication already, and will probably go off the others one at a time while monitoring to make sure the migraines at least don’t worsen.
