The big question that hangs over the Giants and their immediate future is the question that Giants fans have been asking one another for months. 2019 draft pick Daniel Jones is 12-25 as a starting quarterback and is coming off a neck injury that kept him out of the team for the last six games of the recently completed season. The Giants finished with a terrible 4-13 record that equaled that of the woeful Jets and surpassed only the Jaguars and the Lions. Given that there will be more bets placed on NY football teams than ever before this year, thanks to the legalization of sports betting in t ..read more

Giants Gab

The New York Giants have experienced some lean years of late, making it to the postseason on only one occasion in the past decade, and the current season has not begun promisingly though their latest victory leaves Joe Judge’s side with a longshot of progress. Losing their first three games didn’t help matters, but in this long season, there is the faint possibility of hope. Their win over the Las Vegas Raiders has left them 3-6 ahead of the bye week, and if they can put together a strong second half of the season, then a wildcard spot is a distant dream. Three Big Name Matchups for the Giants as they take the Field in 2021
Giants Gab

The New York Giants struggled in the 2020 season, not making it to .500 with new coach Joe Judge as the team struggled to 6-10, a game back of Washington for first in the NFC East. Daniel Jones at QB and an injured Saquan Barkley were enough to sideline a lot of the Giants firepower last season when games mattered. The team made a number of offseason moves in 2021, and are hoping that they can be a bigger force in the NFC East this year. Look for the Giants to be overall better, and for the team to challenge the best in the NFC. While there’s a number of great matchups on the Giants slate, in ..read more

One of the Giants 1-2 punch on their defensive line is locked up, as NJ.com reports today that the team is going to franchise tag Leonard Williams. Williams knows all about the franchise tag, as the team hit him up last season with the tag, so it’s the second straight year he will have the tag placed on him. The lineman earned $16.1 million on the franchise tender in 2020, this year that should move up to about $19.3 million in 2021. The worst part about a tag on Williams is now New York will have to carry the $19.3 million as a cap hit, which is a big chunk of the salary cap for the team. F ..read more

It’s wild to believe, but the New York Giants have a legitimate shot to make the playoffs. After 10 weeks of football, there is not a single team in the NFC East with more than three wins. At 3-7, the Giants are a half game back of the Philadelphia Eagles, and sit in second place in the division.  As the Giants prepare for the back stretch of the season, the team has to believe they can make the playoffs. Granted, of the seven losses that the Giants have, five of those losses have come on one possession, while two have come by just one point. Six to seven wins will win the NFC East, and ..read more
