Naomi + Isaac had a picture-perfect wedding day at Prospect Park Boathouse in Brooklyn. After getting ready at the Ace Hotel, we headed to Prospect Park for their portraits. Park-goers were able to sneak a peek at their traditional Jewish wedding ceremony from outside the boathouse. Peter + Patrick’s spring wedding at The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island was such a fun wedding to kick off my 2024 wedding season. They had hoped (and were rewarded) with cherry blossoms being in bloom around the venue. And with Patrick’s pink suit and other pink accents, the wedding had the spring vibe they desired.  Ari Kiki married them along the waterfront with NYC serving as the perfect backdrop. My final wedding of 2023 was Ally + Aimee’s winter wedding at Stone House at Stirling Ridge. During their outdoor ceremony they played “Roll for Vows.” Their officiant rolled a six-sided die for each of them to read off a promise that they had written. Jen + Walt’s fall wedding at Valley Green Inn was one of the sweetest weddings for me this year. Quite possibly because we’ve become friends since I photographed her sister’s wedding during the pandemic (which meant 2 weddings with this family already – one micro wedding and one big wedding). New Yorkers know it’s been a rainy fall, especially on weekends. We had to reschedule Naomi + Isaac’s Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement session once, but got lucky with an overcast day and no rain for our new date. They met at a dinner a few years before dating and then started dating right before the pandemic. Brooklyn is home and will also be the site of their wedding next year.
