This was a seriously dreamy day. Lena and Haig, along with their immediate families and a few very close friends (who might as well be family) celebrated their union on a warm, late summer evening and it was such a joy to document!! These two are born and bred New Yorkers with Lena growing up right near Central Park, so it was only fitting to do the majority of their portraits in this magical urban oasis! Some people leave an imprint on your heart and these two are just those kinds of people. We fell into an easy friendship immediately during their engagement session and their wedding was an absolute breath of fresh air during an otherwise busy/hectic season for us!! Melissa + Eli kept things intimate and true to their priorities (family + friends who are family, an elegant/stylish yet cozy environment, delicious cocktails, and damn good hamburgers!) You guys. Before this day I hadn’t shot an NYC City Hall wedding in YEARS and now it’s basically all I want to do!! Natalie + Diego were having a large destination wedding, but wanted to make their union official in NYC with their immediate families and I was so incredibly honored to be on hand to document all the love… These two had known each other since they were kids and had the sweetest, most loving connection!
