Today, June 7th, 2024, is the 5 year anniversary of David Powlison’s passing. For those of us in the biblical counseling movement, David was someone who shaped our lives – not just our ministries or vocations – in profound ways.
After David’s passing, I was asked by CCEF to write a Festschrift on David (i.e., a tribute article to honor a scholar in their field). It was an honor to do so. On a day when many of us are remembering the life and legacy of David, it seemed fitting to share that article again.
