‘Staycationing’ isn’t that new a thing. When I was growing up, holidays spent in the UK were just how things were in my family. Aside from a one-off trip to France, we stuck to the familiar sights of Stonehenge, Scarborough, Longleat Safari Park (waking up with the lions roaring – amazing), the Cotswolds and the Highlands.
