Seeking some insight on what HTML Elements or UI control would be best suited to accomplish the following scenario. The ability to select a range of page numbers that could include a number of selections in a range that could include up to 200 pages. The selection would need to be available in a range, or as an individual selections at a time. The best scenario is to allow the user to single items, along with being able to shift-click a range of page numbers. Once page numbers have been selected and submitted. Then those pages can not be selected again for selection. I’ve mocked up an initial ..read more

What are your thoughts on user testing multiple tasks on the same page?

What are your thoughts on user testing multiple tasks on the same page? Is that a bad idea? And how would you go about it if it isnt a bad idea? From what I understand you give a user one task but in this case where every task is on the same page, would you give a task to do each one all in one task? Or separate them and “reset” them after each task even though they are on the same page? 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more

Hey! Two months ago, I was looking for a decent sitemap builder in Figma, but couldn’t find one that worked well for me. That’s why I made Sitemap Gecko. It’s a Figma plugin that lets you build sitemaps from scratch or import them from a URL. The sitemaps get placed on the Figma canvas as editable frames, making it easy to edit & share. If you’d like to, I would love for you to try it and hear your feedback: Sitemap Gecko 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more

Hello, I am following this course: https://youtu.be/IOVFRMuPeVQ?si=KcvNqjjGijpRccVD&t=2578 at certain time of course he starts using Adobe Illustrator and he moved Burger Menu to the Figma. Problem is that I don’t have Adobe Illustrator so instead I draw Burger Menu in Figma. Here is Burger Menu I draw in Figma (it’s marked in red): Burger Menu1920×1080 240 KB Vector 1 needs to be Inside Logo Component, but before I moved it in Logo component I Grouped/Frame It, to be like it is Course, so it becomes (Frame 1/Group 4) like this marked in red: Burger Menu21920×1080 223 KB When I move Fr ..read more

How and what to capture at a product conference
UX Mastery Community

This is a general and broad question as I can’t go into too much detail. But every year our product is showcased at a conference and I’m hoping to put a number of questions together for a survey for attendees (existing customers or potential customers interested in the product). What questions would be good to ask in terms of feedback on the product? And what would be the best way to capture this data. I’d like to find out how they like/dislike the product, what areas could be improved on, what features they may want in it. The caveat to this is that the customer base is very secretive and unl ..read more
