Cleveland Public Library to Provide Free Summer Meals

Beginning this month, the Summer Meals program will return to neighborhood branches of the Cleveland Public Library to combat hunger and ensure children have access to food during summer break. In partnership with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, FREE nutritious meals will be available for children ages 18 and under, Monday – Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. from now until August 11. Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Welcomes Baby Bison

  Baby alert! A couple weeks ago, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo welcomed a bison calf. Mom “Blue” arrived at the zoo last fall, already bred, from Minnesota Zoo (along with two additional females, “Grun” and “Topaz”). Baby was standing and nursing within the first 30 minutes after its birth. Mom and baby are currently bonding on exhibit and guests can visit the new calf at Wilderness Trek during normal hours of operation.
