Browns drafts have been near the consensus board
The internet and social media has been a problem in a lot of ways but, when it comes to sports media, they have their positives. For decades, people passionate about sports had very few opportunities to turn those passions into income, careers or communities. Now, fans have turned into analysts then analysts into full-time (or at least supplemental income-based) sports media members.

Round 2: Offensive line will need immediate depth with future starting capabilities
With the Cleveland Browns needing quality depth (and future starters) at both the offensive guard and offensive tackle positions, look no further than the second and third rounds in this year’s NFL draft for some developmental pieces.
Versatility in his toolbox is a plus with a player who can play both sides, that is every bit Kiran Amegadjie. He played in the Ivy League, so the competition may not be up to par and will need some development at the next level.

Jaylan Ford has the tools and athleticism to contribute early in Cleveland’s defense
The Cleveland Browns are heading into the 2024 NFL Draft with multiple position groups in mind and linebacker is surely one of them.
Andrew Berry signed Jordan Hicks and Devin Bush at the beginning of this year’s free agency cycle which undeniably solidified the linebacker room. Hicks will most likely be the starting MIKE, while Bush has a chance to see solid rotational work at SAM or WILL in 2024.
In addition to these two free-agent signings, there’s a goo ..read more

Jacob Phillips was drafted in the third round of the 2020 NFL draft
With the NFL draft just days away, NFL free agency feels like it was three months ago instead of having kicked off just last month. For the Cleveland Browns, free agency saw the return of many key depth pieces and just a few, hopefully helpful additions. Outside of the trade for WR Jerry Jeudy, LB Jordan Hicks was the lone new starter added to the roster.
Hicks is likely to take the place of LB Anthony Walker Jr. but the Browns also lost LB Sione Takitaki in free agency. LB ..read more

His off-field contributions are front and center
One thing that immediately happened when the Cleveland Browns hired Jim Schwartz as their new defensive coordinator: they set out to find players to stop the run. Under former DC Joe Woods, offenses ran all over them.
Right off during free agency, the franchise signed DT Dalvin Tomlinson. Three days later, DT Maurice Hurst was signed.
The Browns already had Jordan Elliott, Ben Stille, Roderick Perry, Perrion Winfrey, Tommy Togiai, and Michael Dwumfour.
Trysten Hill was also signed as a free agent while Siaki ..read more

It is draft week, so mock drafts aplenty
Generally speaking, fans of the NFL fall into two camps when it comes to NFL draft coverage:
Never enough
Too much, way way way too much
For the second group, that is especially true with NFL mock drafts as everyone now produces them, with the help of multiple mock draft simulators, and the flood of information can be overwhelming. For the first group, everything in the previous sentence is true except instead of “overwhelming” it is “awesome.”

Mock drafts often focus on talent but following the money can be helpful as well
Figuring out what the Cleveland Browns will do in the 2024 NFL draft is darn near impossible. Not only are the Browns at the whims of all the teams selecting before them at pick #54 but GM Andrew Berry doesn’t have an immediate need that jumps off the page.
Not only has that led to mock drafts with names all over the place (including Jack’s final version Monday morning) but it has also led to a wide variety of prospect profiles (including RB Jaylen Wright on Mo ..read more
