Many times my home feels cluttered and chaotic. This is when, I know it’s time to take stock of all the rooms and the living space that we are in, to see how I can provide a more serene and inviting space that is conducive to writing, reading, and taking care of my family. Exploring a shift in our space towards minimalism certainly provides simplicity, functionality, and a focus on what is essential for our family. But beyond the aesthetic appeal, a space with a minimalistic approach can bring a sense of calm, order, and tranquility to all of Team Gellibean and what we do.

Netflix binging and movie marathons have become a common occurrence in our home over the last two years. #TeamGellibean has always been a fan of the “big screen,” but with the LUMOS RAY projector, we can now enjoy watching our family favorites in almost any location!
All we need is a power source, a white surface, a dimly lit area, and some movie snacks too.
Elegant and Powerful
At first glance, the LUMOS RAY is simple and unassuming. The minimalist and sleek look is unobtrusive in the room, and does not detract from decor or style. The clean and modern lines give way to an inbuilt Dolby Audio ..read more

As hybrid events become more and more convenient, we can look forward to reconnecting with friends in the media that we miss, and learning more about the brands that we know and love, with experts signing in from all over the world. This was the case when I attended the recent launch for Taste Australia, A Grapeful Summer.
Attending smaller hybrid events with masks and protocols in place is the new norm.Philippines is Top 5 in Exports

This past weekend reminded me of my first Mother’s Days I celebrated as a mom. I baked a cake for my mom, created something special for Nino’s mom, and honored my sister who became a mom before me. Of course, I had to document the occasion, complete with photos of my little one in her pretty pink bonnet. The pressure of bringing all the things together was real, and the responsibility of caring for another human being who looked to me for her every need was new, but the obligation to honor the mothers who came before me was important. Mother’s Day with three young adults and a big kid, is so m ..read more

As restaurants, cafes, and hotels are slowly coming out of their pandemic imposed slumber, we are all adjusting to the new ways that we dine in or out with friends and family. Feeling our way through what is newly appropriate, Covid-safe, and doesn’t drain our adjusted social batteries has playground feels at recess after lunch. Nino and I felt like big kids for our first night out in more than two years, when we visited Weekend Grills at Bay City Café.

As we head into ECQ Season 3.0, Netflix updates us on what we can expect that is new and exciting. As many of us continue our valued monthly subscriptions, we can look for added kiddie and family features that everyone can enjoy. Netflix provides opportunities to travel countries far and beyond, through our favorite K-dramas. It helps ground us in gratitude for good health with medical series like The Good Doctor or New Amsterdam. And of course, it offers growing families the opportunity to bond with little ones over shows that are family friendly and perfect for movie night bonding, like VIVO ..read more

As I am catching up on writing about all of the fun things and revelations that I have had during Mother’s Month, I am excited to share an event that I attended for Netflix, themed a “Mom’s Night In.” This virtual event was a fun break for the middle of the week blues that we all have been experiencing this lockdown, and was fantastic for enlightening me on “What’s New on Netflix.”
This is how we get to see each other now. Can’t wait till we can get together in person…

If you have been following along on Instagram, you know that I have made some lifestyle changes to a strictly Keto Vegan diet. Nino and I have gone keto to try and shed some unwanted pounds that we have acquired over the last year, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results from the past two weeks. While we both have enjoyed the variety of dishes that are being sent over every day, one thing I am missing is the lack of crunchy things in my diet. Hence, this new post on how to make Keto Vegan Crackers.
