With Christmas approaching faster than a Minecraft Creeper it was time to be proactive and make some inroads into the festive check-list. And as any parent would know, adding kids into the mix requires military like strategy. So for this mission, it made sense to shop local and “shock and awe” Jetty Road, Glenelg. The Spring Racing Carnival is well underway and there are a number of key race days to attend, presenting the perfect opportunity to go full glam. Jetty Road traders celebrated their best-of-the-best on Friday 11 October at the 2019 Jetty Road Business Awards, designed to recognise the retail, service and business excellence within the Glenelg Tourist Precinct. Hosted by the Jetty Road Mainstreet Committee, the Awards were held for 200 business owners and staff at The Function at The Beachouse, and were hosted by Hayley Pearson and Lauren DeCesare from ADELADY. To all Parents/ grandparents or to any sucker that has the next two weeks of entertaining children over these October school holidays.
