Nigeria's Ibom Air launches A220 operations Ibom Air (QI, Uyo) has begun operating revenue flights with its first A220-300 nearly half a year after the aircraft was delivered to Nigeria. 5N-CDA (msn 55250) debuted on the Uyo-Lagos route on April 29.   AirAsia launches Cambodia branch On 2 May 2024, AirAsia Cambodia launched its commercial operations after it secured its Air Operator's Certificate on 30 April 2024. AirAsia's newest branch is based at Phnom Penh and starts with domestic flights serving Siem Reap and Sihanoukvile.   IndiGo orders Airbus A350-900's On 25 April 2024, IndiGo announced it has signed its first order for widebody aircraft in the airline's history. After considering the Boeing B787 and the Airbus A350, IndiGo settled for the latter and placed a firm order for 30 A350-900s. The deal also includes purchase rights for 70 additional A350s.
