Do HVAC companies in Boise service and repair older AC units that use R-22? We had a system maintenance check last week and were told our 10 year old AC has a coolant leak and that we’ll need to get a whole new HVAC system since R-22 hasn’t been made in years and is in short supply. Our AC worked fine last year and while our furnace is 20 years old, it is still plugging away and kept us warm all winter.
