I get Barefoot TJ wanting to retire as it were. It seems as if folks are just not as active in barefoot running or this site anymore. Boulder and I did a 4 mile run Monday at 6:00 am. the sun was coming up and it was 70 deg. f. with no wind. We spotted lots of the usual fun stuff.: Rabbits, horses herons, crows, one hawk and lots of song birds. the moon was still out. Really great outing ..read more

I'm just burning with curiosity now (too late maybe) about why people stopped running barefoot? If they did? Did folks here on this site just scatter out to smaller local FB pages? And are still running barefoot? Is running, in general, a trend for people, or a trend in general? Are all people running less now than, say, 15 years ago?
