Off the back of sharing my favourites from the new Sezane Fall 24 Collection, today I’m reviewing the items that I ended up adding to cart. Hopefully if you’ve been considering any of these items, you’ll find this post helpful. In addition to detailed photographs (front and back!), I’ve also listed measurements for each piece. If you have any additional questions, let me know in the comments. #1 | Sezane Farel Jacket Despite being pretty much set for outerwear, this was the focus of my order. The first of three jackets I ended up adding to cart was the Farel…

The tail end of winter always hits me by surprise. A 31 deg C day will pop up out of nowhere, cascading into the start of spring even though technically – technically – winter isn’t over yet. And it’s worth noting that Sydney winters as they are translate to “winter lite”. One thing I finally switched up this season, was sorting myself out with a digital wardrobe cataloguing app so that I had a real visual representation of my outfits. Numbers are one thing, but they only tell you half of the story. Getting a visual overview of what I…

At this point, I think I’m starting to sound like a broken record. But… could this be the best Sezane collection to date? The rich colour scheme feels like an antidote to minimalist dressing, and I love the simple yet elevated silhouettes (fun prints abound!). I’m planning on adding a couple of items to cart, but let’s window shop and highlight the best of the bunch – aka items I think are worth buying (and why!). 2024 Sezane Fall Collection Top Picks Nicia Dress | One of the most popular pieces from Sezane’s 2023 Pre-Fall Collection, I have a feeling…

The reality is that no matter how much you covet a singular item, eventually, it’s just going to become stuff. But hopefully, the type of “stuff” that you are wearing all the time. Off the back of a recent splurge purchase – a pair of sleek black loafers from Chanel – I found myself dissecting what qualities make an expensive (for you) purchase worthwhile. What qualities make it a standout? Something you’ll actually end up reaching for without fail, and not some long forgotten expensive must-have that now sits at the back of your closet (RIP my Gucci loafers). So…

Sezane is one of those brands that I can’t help but go back to time and time again, and over the years, I’ve collected – and tried – many of their designs. Rather than highlighting some of the brand’s more popular pieces that you’re probably all well familiar with, I wanted to hero five underrated items I’ve bought from Sezane. #1 | Sezane Gabano Coat Wearing size AU8/US4/FR36 When I originally stumbled across the Gabano jacket, the first thing I did was a quick Google search to see if I could find any reviews or pictures of people wearing this…

At one point it wasn’t uncommon for my entire outfit to be from Everlane. I was such a devotee, ,and my style journey was heavily dictated by the basics (something they do very well). Given that I’ve loved the brand for a decode now, I wanted to share the ten best pieces to buy from Everlane in 2024. Safe to say that this isn’t an exhaustive list (there are many more items I’ve owned which I wish I could include), but moreso a curated of the very best bits. AKA the creme de la creme. For size reference, I’m 172cm tall (or…

As a follow up to my last post, I wanted to break down my top five picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale now that general access has begun. Basically, the items that I think are really worth considering adding to cart. A couple of tips before you shop; to avoid going overboard, stick to a list of core or “key” pieces to buy from the sale. Add items that are sold out to your wishlist to be notified when they restock. Look at the fabric composition; this is a big one, and the composition should make sense for the item…

It’s that time of the year again… Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for 2024 has officially begun. As has become tradition, I’ve sorted through every page of the sale to share with you my top picks from this year’s event. For those in the Northern Hemisphere, this sale is an excellent opportunity to save on your seasonal wardrobe budget as you can score discounts of up to 40% off new season items. Shopping Tips While I usually stick to a 30-day shopping rule, the “buy now, return later” strategy is key during this sale. Items tend to sell out quickly, so this…

You’ve heard me say it before, that accessories can be an outfit maker. That finishing touch. Used to punctuate a neutral outfit with a bright burst, to add in that final layer of texture and dimension, or to break up an outfit and add contrast. Shoes might be the leading lady in this regard, but bags have pretty big sway too. And I thought today we could focus on the latter, and the three bags that everyone should have in their wardrobe. My personal approach to wardrobe curation is to look at function first. My specific wardrobe essential is not…

If you’ve been keeping track of my most worn, then you’ve probably seen the brand Goelia pop up. They’ve become something of a “go-to” for me, when I want that classic Parisian girl look. Or when I’m after a solid wardrobe staple in a quality fabric. Some of my favourite pieces include this little striped wool jacket, in addition to this split hem trouser skirt. Simple, but chic. And easily repeatable. And, they’ve nailed the French girl look. As well as the pretty, romantic dress, the ladylike tweed jacket, and the effortless cashmere coat. So let’s talk about the best…
