We are pleased to announce the completion of a new area of the garden! The Alpine Crevice and Native Garden is the only public crevice garden in Calgary. This project was created in partnership with the CRAGS - Calgary Rock & Alpine Garden Society who worked closely with our volunteers to complete this garden. A large group of Garrison Green Lodge for Seniors residents made their way to the Gardens for the fourth year in a row. They all enjoyed the spendiferous array of flowers and foliage - despite the brutal heat of the day. Some had walkers, others had walking sticks and only two required gator rides. Many had interesting stories to share and a couple even asked for calendars. The two most senior visitors (husband and wife) were 103 and 101!
