A little over 4 years ago, when the world shut down, I found comfort and happiness in the music and lyrics of a Broadway show. Although it opened 5 years prior, I had not had the opportunity to see this iconic show yet, and honestly didn’t know much about it. Luckily, Hamilton came into my ... [Read more ..read more

We were recently invited to explore iPlay America in Freehold, NJ. I had heard so many amazing reviews which is why I was beyond excited for our visit. From the moment we entered the complex, we were in awe. There is so much to see, do, and explore for all ages. iPlay offers hours of fun and excitement!
One of the things I really love about iPlay is the theming. I truly felt like I was down the shore walking in out of the arcades and exploring the boardwalk. From the decorations to the lamp posts to the facade outside each room, it was truly a unique experience. Even though there were tons of ..read more

As parents, we are always looking for the best products for our kids. Is it safe? Is it durable? Will my child love it? These are questions we ask ourselves when purchasing a new toy or product for the most important person in our lives. Another question I always ask myself is, “Will it enhance development?” Many toys can keep a child engaged, but they don’t all foster learning. I believe that toys, travel, and experiences should encourage a love of learning, which is why I started Mommy University. I wanted to share these ideas with all of you.

When winter arrives, many people feel the need to hunker down inside. We love to snuggle by the couch and sit by the warm fire. This winter, bundle up the family and venture outside for a fun experience. One way to enjoy the great outdoors this winter is to experience maple sugaring. That’s right! You can learn all about the process to make maple syrup right here in NJ. No need to travel all the way to Vermont (although that is really fun too).
New Jersey offers some fun and unique maple sugaring events. From story times to hikes to tastings, there are maple sugaring experiences the entire fa ..read more
