Using a transparency and stitching to overlay my layout to give it a 3D effect.  I have stamped under the overlay for some added interest.  I was then able to audition elements from 49 & Market as well as Luckyfindings Foundations to create this layout for this months palette play.  Hope this inspires you to get creative and join in on the monthly challenges ..read more

Happy Saturday to all.  Can't believe we are in April already and we are all probably still on a chocolate high. Grab a cup of tea or coffee, Glass of Wine or spirits and sit back and enjoy.   I am here to share my take on this month's Palette Play - Vintage Charm Greys, pale vintage browns, pinks and maybe some light blues.  It is all about interpretation and how does this palette make you feel.  This palette reminds me of Tim Holtz paper dolls.  I must admit that I am a collector of Tim's paper dolls and have a few series of them.  I knew I didn't wa ..read more

Happy Saturday all  It's the Easter Saturday today. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and are able to relax a little.  Today's share is my take on this week's ATC prompt.  Flora and Fauna: focus on the interaction between Plants and Animals I immediately thought of butterflies and leaves/flowers and gathered my supplies.  I knew I wanted to use some honeycomb somewhere. So, I went searching for the honeycomb chipboard, but alas that was missing but I did find a chipboard leaf vine. So, I changed tac and went in a different direction. I gathered the honeyc ..read more

hi all and welcome to Saturday. It is ATC share day.  Week 12 prompt is Cultural Fusion: blend elements from different cultures in your artwork.  I knew exactly where I wanted to start. I have had this piece of paper in my stash for ages. I am pretty sure the amazing Gayle Price gave it to me.  I took a little strip off the side and stuck it down with gel medium. Added another little strip of paper to add some more something to it. Obviously, the piece of paper with the strip ripped off of it.  after that I stuck down one of the Dina Wakely Collage Faces over the ..read more

happy Saturday.... why is it sad... because I only have my ATC for this week to share.... this week's prompt: Sci-fi Fantasies - design an ATC inspired by Science Fiction 'Captured' how did it happen...  well, I am NOT into sci-fi at all.  What does sci-fi mean:  Science fiction, popularly shortened as sci-fi, is a genre of fiction that creatively depicts real or imaginary science and technology as part of its plot, setting, or theme. The fiction part of science fiction means, of course, that it’s a fictional story—not a real-life accou ..read more
