Anyone else still getting a strange outcome from asking to play music via AA? I will say "Ask Amazon Music to play songs by Will Smith" and it will play songs by someone completely different, but it's the same completely different every time I ask for "Will Smith" and always the same wrong person for each artist, same with genres, or albums. I asked previously and the suggestion was to re-install everything, ensure on the latest versions. I had the same problem on both my Samsung Note 10+ and now my S24 Ultra. My Alexa is now refusing to play my custom Spotify playlists and instead is pulling generic playlists using the same or similar names. Example: I have a playlist called “Late Nights.” Now, any routine or command I give her to play my “Late Nights” playlist results in Alexa playing the “Late Night Jazz” playlist made by Spotify. I tell her to play my “Sleep” playlist, and she instead plays a playlist called “Sleep” that’s made by Spotify. Anyone have any ideas what’s gone wrong here? We're playing Easy Pop on Amazon Music, through our Alexa Echo Dot. For a long time, maybe a year or two, she won't skip songs. My Alexa Echo device has been disconnected. When I try to connect from the app, nothing happens; I just see the Alexa logo. My folks bought one of those ball-shaped Alexa Echo Dots last night at some bargain bin store (used, I presume), and as per the usual, they threw it to me to set it up and whatnot. I've done some of these before, so I figured it'd be simple... but this one just keeps giving me trouble. Here's what usually happens... I go to the Alexa app. The Echo Dot is currently orange. The detergent dispenser in my dishwasher doesn't work, so I have a "dishwasher timer" command which starts a 17 minute timer to remind me to put in the second pod, and I'm saying Alexa start a dishwasher timer and the damned thing keeps asking how long the timer should be. If I tell it stop and ask again, it usually operates normally.
