For every reporter, journalist or content creator, being at a tournament is the stuff of dreams. As far as you can think and you are creative, there are tons of things to do  Being her brings her own challenges. No, I am not talking about the language challenge, the weather or staring female eyes - not that. There isn't just enough time to execute all your plans. I wish I had more hours in the day than 24 hours. The thing is, a lot of news or content related stuff has timelines and viability. If you can't render a video or upload stuff on YouTube as when due, the work is almost usele ..read more

Cameroon has been decent so far to be honest. Garoua, where we are is like Sokoto where pine trees and arid air hits you badly. I was able to go for the Super Eagles recovery session and then spoke to Zaidu Sanusi and Ahmed Musa about their expectations in the competition so far. Our discussion can be found on the NFF website and other socials.  Aha, I forgot to add that the hotel changed our room and that really helped a lot. Food has improved drastically and I have found areas I can get stuff for cheap. Thursday was cool too as we ate Nigerian food cooked by Nigerians. Ther ..read more

Super Eagles O Clock My journey to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations started with a phone call from the Director of Communications of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ademola Olajire around November 2021. After I got my briefing, it was down to business to formulate and curate the visuals to be used for the Afcon 2021. I was to be supervised by Ayo Ibidapo aka AY Suga and off course I knew at the time despite the challenge ahead, it was going be a good one. Our tag-team worked at the World Cup in 2018 and I was looking forward to it. After a few weeks, the templates were done and we ..read more

Just before the new Nigeria Professional Football League season started, I had an idea of how things will pan out. I thought to myself I had it all figured out. In my head, Enyimba, Kano Pillars, Rivers United and Plateau United will fight for the title while Adamawa United, Sunshine Stars, Jigawa Stars and Dakkada were the teams I tipped to fall out. I know, I know what you are going to say but I had my reasons then and some are taking shape based on the seven matchdays we’ve had so far but I must admit I have been way off the mark with most of my predictions. Arsenal U23 defender Joseph Olowu is primed to follow in the footsteps of former Arsenal star Alex Iwobi as he has declared his allegiance to Nigeria. Olowu, who is a mainstay in the Arsenal U23 side, was initially pencilled to be part of the Flying Eagles preparatory camp in Germany before Poland 2019 but injury cut short that dream. The centre back, who can also play at right-back and in defensive midfield overcame that injury and is now having a decent run in Arsenal’s U23 side. Olowu, 19, who also trains with the Arsenal first-team, told Andrew Randa that Nigeria has always been on ..read more
