I have recently started to build up an archive of my favorite books. For me its really anoying that you have to saparate each author and even series if you want them to be in order. Is it posible to do this with just metadata? Having dropbox sort first by author then by series for example. Sorry if this is a stupid question and thanks in advance

I have a professional account, and I know how to restrict download when sending a link, but the thing is, I don't really have scenarios where I want to allow downloading. Is there some way to set the restriction as the default?
UPDATE: I received a response to this from Dropbox. There is no way to set 'disable downloads' as the default. That seems crazy, considering one is almost doubling the cost of Dropbox for the privilege. Off to shake my fist at the sky ...

We use DropBox for work and the past few days I have been getting this side panel pop up when a file is selected. This is a new feature or something? It's really annoying me and others at work. Is there any way to remove it completely?

I would like to share a folder including subfolders via the “view only” link method accessible to non-Dropbox users. Thus far no luck. Although the children folders are visible, I cannot access them?
Is there a way to achieve this?
Thank you

Did Dropbox change something recently?
I can view uploaded files via browser & Windows File Explorer but I can't access my files via S/FTP anymore?
This happened within the last 2 days.

I uploaded a file from the to the computer from my samsung, I then deleted the file on the computer but it still stays on the phone.
Any way to have automatically deleted from the phone as well?

I upload my day's Uber footage (so many hours) and it usually takes way too long to upload per file. I have several tabs on the normal dropbox.com app, and it is slow to load overnight; I don't want to keep leaving my laptop open. Is it just my Internet slowing it down, or can I upload faster?

We have a client that has about 10 staff using Dropbox (all are licensed). They currently have about 6 TB of data on Dropbox (at least in their shared / team folders) and this is the core of their business. Their data within Dropbox changes pretty frequently since they access, change, add, etc. to Dropbox on a daily basis. Because of the importance of this data, we are looking for some way to back it all up externally (on an ongoing, automated basis).
I've been speaking with QNAP and we could purchase and use one of their NAS devices and software to tie in to the Dropbox account and synchroni ..read more

Since we are in restricted mod, the fastest and easiest way to join would be sending a message using the link below.
It might take a day or so to get added.
