I’ve been trying to replicate the pair on the right for a while now, I love the fading but the fit isn’t for me. I posted a few weeks ago asking how I could achieve some of the fades and was recommended hand sanding, unfortunately I’ve tried this two times now on jeans of varying washes and the fades never seem to show up as prominently as on the pair to the right. These are completely different washes but I expected the denim to lighten up a lot more after how heavily I was sanding it. The Japanese selvedge fabric I recently bought felt really itchy so when I had a closer look, it seemed like tiny pieces of wood are stuck to the weft.
