With all of the buzz going on about Legacy United Tidal Wave, I went down a rabbit hole thinking about this question: What Transformers figures, across all generations, do you think every collector should experience at some point? Figures that are iconic, or maybe underrated? Some of my picks would be G1 Soundwave, Armada Tidal Wave, SS86 Hot Rod, and more recently the ROTB studio series Optimus Prime.

I showed my girlfriend the Michael Bay Transformers franchise. Prior to this she had not seen any form of Transformers media outside of memes. I wanted to show her the stuff that I grew up on, so I convinced her to watch the first one with me.
The first film is in her favourites on Letterboxd. She gave it five stars. She loved Sam Witwicky because she loves just loser characters. And her name is Sam so it equals out. The first movie really made an impression on her. She thought Optimus irradiated DILF energy.
