Yesturday I noticed web protection was off spent a few hours trying to sort it but with no luck. Gave it a go today, spent most of the day with no luck, and no support from Malwarebytes, as I didn't register my copy with them to my email account and I did try but it won't let me, I may of registed it to a different email account, and when I tried to open a support ticket they quickly replied with you don't have a registed account, case closed. I received an email about the AT&T breach and ran the Digital Footprint Portal Scan to see if my email was exposed. In the results it showed that that my SS# was possibly exposed. But what it showed confuses me. It displayed, in a white bubble, XXX-XX-XXDD, where the DD was 2 digits, however, the 2 digits displayed are not part of my SS#. I checked past threads for this and couldn't find anything for Linktwin. I use Linktwin all the time to redirect my audiences directly to my YouTube vids on their phones YouTube app instead of their browser. All of a sudden yesterday, (The day before one of my publishes) Malwarebytes informed me that they have blocked this site because of phishing. I downloaded some cracked files a couple of months ago like ableton and other music plugins. I've had 0 issues until a couple of hours ago where my CPU keeps spiking. It doesnt show on my task manager oddly. sitting at idle my cpu will fluctuate from 1-6% with "system" hitting 4% sometimes. Yet, in ableton my cpu monitor will spike to 150-300%. I also noticed browsing on chrome and loading stuff on discord is super slow. hp plugin executor will also spike to 5% or so randomly for my cpu. I am running into an annoying problem. I disabled the chrome extension on a webpage, but the context menu still shows up when clicking on a video player. "Malwarebytes browser guard" with the option "block this item". Is there a way to fix this? It may seem trivial, but it can get really bothersome when you are constantly using the context menu.
