Although external fencing contractors were brought in for the backstop, the club itself carried out all the dirt work at the field, in building the mound, home plate and bases. Obviously we learnt a lot about field construction during this process, and it is detailed here, to act as a resource for any other clubs attempting to build a baseball facility. We want to see baseball grow in this country, so help that this is found useful by others.
