In order to keep track and post it out we’ve gone all professional and now have proper postage services. As of today, copies of Legendary Kingdoms are flying out into the Royal Mail postage system and should be with you shortly – either next week if you are in the UK, or the week after if you live anywhere else. Apologies for the delay, but we wanted to make sure that we could deal with all these orders in a safe and ..read more

Battlecard of the Day – Eagle Defender
Elite Dangerous Role Playing Game
by admin

Some cards are just handy.  The Eagle Defender can act as a good transport or capital ship guard with it’s Interdict ability.  With it’s Dodge 2 ability, it can even stay alive against light hits from other fighters.  It also has a mean little attack – a Fixed 2 damage against targets that are Charged (Charged cards have not acted yet this turn).  With it’s Speed of 50, there is a good chance it can use this attack every round.  Not bad for 3 Build Points! Legendary Kingdoms Zoom In – The Blackwall
Elite Dangerous Role Playing Game

There are some ruins in the Valley that predate all living and historical memory. It is said that humans have walked the world for three thousand years, but the Blackwall is older. Much, much older. It lies in the heart of the Valley of Bones, a sheer and smooth wall of reflective obsidian. Viewed from a certain distance it appears to cut off access the the Granite Hills beyond, but with good navigation is can be easily bypassed, as the hills stretch for miles beyond it’s length. However, determining exactly how long the Blackwall really is is not an easy question to answer. Those who have tr ..read more

Battlecard of the Day – Treasonous Gunship
Elite Dangerous Role Playing Game

Treasonous Gunship:  Wow!  A Strength 6 anti-warship card that costs only 4 Build Points?  That looks great!  Let me just read the small print … oh, no – my mistake, it’s rubbish isn’t it?  This disloyal card will join your opponent’s side for a round if they spend 5 Karma points on it.  Hang on, though … 5 Karma points is quite a lot, isn’t it?  That’s a lot of points to spend on a card that is only yours for single attack.  And if you have no warships on your side of the board the attack isn’t that bad.  And just think of all the Karma your oppone ..read more

Legendary Kingdoms Zoom In – The Mordain Ruins
Elite Dangerous Role Playing Game
by copperleaf

The desolate ruins of Mordain are not all together abandoned… Ask anyone who has visited the Valley of Bones and they will tell you there are five cities in the country. They will probably roll their eyes as they say it, for the run-down settlements of the Valley would hardly qualify as a ‘city’ in the grand realms of Royce or Drakehallow. It was not always so. Once there were six cities, and the sixth was the most marvelous of them all – Mordain, a merchant city of vibrant culture and great wealth. Before the Valley fell into ruin almost a thousand years ago, Mordain was a quaint little city ..read more

Battlecard of the Day – Picket Ship
Elite Dangerous Role Playing Game

Picket Ship:  Not all Corvettes are over-gunned monstrosities.  Some are just plain annoying instead.  The Picket Ship is cheap for a Corvette, with rather … ahem … modest firepower.  But your opponent will still hate it, because they will be forced to attack this white elephant with all their ships until it is destroyed thanks to its special ability.  A shame it also has a self-healing capability, isn’t it? Legendary Kingdoms Zoom In – The Palace of Unbraaki
Elite Dangerous Role Playing Game
by copperleaf

The Palace of Unbraaki is well guarded On the western shore of the Valley of Bones, perched high atop a jagged clifftop, stands one of the most beautiful places in the country. A delicate water garden, filled with flowers and trees, tended to at all times of day by attentive slaves, frame a stone and wood palace of surpassing beauty. This is the Palace of Unbraaki, the most powerful sorcerer in the region. Unbraaki is not a kind man, but he is an important one. His services cost a fortune, and are only at the beck of the desert kings of the valley. He has no time for peasants or the poor, and ..read more

Battlecard of the Day – Patriot Corvette

Patriot Corvette:  When the Patriot Corvette is laid down the skies darken and the stars go out.  Ships don’t come any more horrid.  Being on the receiving end of a Patriot’s guns is like kissing a sledgehammer.  Every time you attack it, it hits you back, and it can attack all targets in the same zone, so forget about swarming the great horror with a pack of fighters.  Then, just because it’s a complete swine, when you are on the verge of killing it, it retreats and replaces itself with two smaller ships.  For free.  Well … for 12 Build points anyway. Battlecard of the Day – Fer-De-Lance A9 Excalibur

Fer-De-Lance A9 Excalibur:  What the hell did you do to get this bad boy on your tail?  The A9 Excalibur is fast, almost impossible to damage, and is the absolute bane of Neutral cards across the galaxy.  Even being in a different star system to this thing doesn’t help, as it zips from zone to zone, laying down death and destruction whilst taking no damage in return.  Mind you, it needs to be survivable; at 10 Build points and 2 Karma it’s probably the only thing you’ll be deploying in the zone!
