Hey guys! First time poster here :)
I recently noticed that a lot of my photos started bright green, red, or cyan dots or lines of dots on landscape photos or images with bright light sources. Inexplicably, these also seem to show up randomly on cloudy days or on images that don't have bright light sources. I can't seem to find much of a correlation between the severity of the hot/stuck pixels and the lighting environment. Here are a couple examples to show what I mean:

I’ve been avoiding the 16-55mm f/2.8 due to it’s massiveness and price. Still wanting a relatively fast zoom for everyday use, I finally picked up this used Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8. This thing is incredible considering it’s diminutive size and weight, low cost ($400USD used), and fantastic image quality. Totally worth losing the aperture ring.
