Pet Portraits Are Back   It has been a crazy long time since I did a blog post. I have thought long and hard about what to write and whether I should disclose why I have been so quiet. After some thought, and if you follow my facebook page, you may already know why. So I think it would do no harm to mention it here as well. In 2021 I had a nervous breakdown. It rocked me to my core and not only did I lose my ability to do my pet portraits, I could paint full stop. It felt like had lost myself. It has been the toughest 18 – 20 months of my life, but gradually I am finding my feet agai ..read more

A way behind came the horse portraits and then seriously lagging were that cat portraits. Not this last month or two. My pet portraits have been dominated by the feline kind! It started off with a double cat portrait that was completed in April and then this last month 90% of the pet portraits have been cat portraits! I am so glad about this as they have always been totally under represented for pet portraits UK, so it certainly makes a welcome change. Dexter. First up is t ..read more

New Website, New Blog Post As some of you may have noticed, my website has had a redesign. I am so pleased with it. Sarah’s Pet Portraits is well over 15 years old now and this website design is at least years old I believe. Unfortunately I don’t seem to see much change in my rankings which I have been struggling with for a while now. Google likes to make things a challenge so the user gets the best experience and results. Unfortunately it seems full of ..read more
