Progressive alternative rockers Pure Reason Revolution return with their sixth studio album ‘Coming Up To Consciousness’, released on September 6th, 2024 via InsideOutMusic. Summer is the season for epic tours where a few iconic bands join forces to create unforgettable lineups featuring beloved acts and a plethora of hits. Among these, few can rival the sheer number of hits packed into the 3 1/2-hour extravaganza that is the Styx & Foreigner double bill, with the legendary John Waite (The Babys, Bad English) as the opening act. In an exciting announcement for Rush fans and rock enthusiasts alike, Anthem Records in Canada and Rhino Records will reissue the first-ever solo albums of Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee. Lifeson’s 1996 album Victor and Lee’s 2000 offering My Favourite Headache will be re-released on August 9, 2024, in various formats, including a range of vinyl configurations.

It was around this time last year that I was flicking through the BBC footage of the Glastonbury festival, when I was shocked to hear a band playing Yes’s Heart of the Sunrise! It turns out that hip hop star Lizzo was using that piece of music as the intro to one of her songs!
