The more I play with the Basecamp the more I love it. Offers an amazing camping experience. Plenty of storage for gear. Just enough bathroom space to do your business. submitted by /u/Aucarter [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Help with model year differences

My husband and I recently sold our 2021 Airstream FC twin with bunk. We have decided that we would like to purchase a Globetrotter 27’ (used) with queen bed. Hoping to find one that is relatively new, 2017-2023. Other than resale value based on model year, what are some of the manufacturing differences between the model years that I need to take into consideration? submitted by /u/lakemurray2 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Any SoCal folks buy an Airstream recently?

My wife and I are looking to buy a new Caravel 19CB this year from one of the SoCal Airstream dealers--Airstream Los Angeles, Airstream Orange County, or Airstream Inland Empire. Couple questions for you: Which of these dealers do you recommend? More importantly, what did you pay in relation to MSRP? I just want to know a fair price to aim for. I know prices have come down since the height of the pandemic and in some cities, 15% below MSRP is pretty reasonable but not sure about my specific region. Looking for region specific advice. Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/nartmot [visit reddit ..read more

We pulled into this site off highway 89 before we ran out of daylight. Nice site, and we were able to find a spot we could park without too much trouble. We are pulling a 2022 Flying Cloud 30FBB, coming back from an eclipse caravan in Mexico. submitted by /u/slimspida [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Selling my 2018 Bambi

Hi all. I’ve had a hell of a time trying to sell my Bambi over the past 4 months or so. I started by listing on FB marketplace which got a lot of hits but also a ton of spam. I had one guy who was SUPER interested and strung me along for a month….so that was great. I recently listed in on Airstream Marketplace but haven’t gotten any hits there yet. I spoke to dealers but they all seem to be pretty shit as far as what they’re offering. It’s in Florida which might be part of the issue? I took it down there thinking it would be easier to sell than up in Maine where it was & I didn’t have to ..read more

First time airstream owner. Very excitied about all the fun and travel to come. Drove it from northern California to Oregon over the last 2 days. First time hauling something that big for that long of a distance (I know 23 ain't huge but its definitely not small). Driving felt pretty smooth but still will have to get used to it. It was basically a barn find. Kept on a farm in Sonoma and hardly used. Accumulated a lot of moss, spiders and dust both inside and out. It needed new tires and bearings but after 2 pretty full days of care and cleaning it is looking SWEET!!!! Not too much has bee ..read more
