Some time within the last 6 months, Adobe switched font management from the fonts.adobe.com website to within the Creative Cloud app.
I'm all for streamlining and centralising components, however, this move has been the most basic I've seen from Adobe and lacks any thought for how users would like to manage their fonts.
Over the decades, there have been several great font management apps. I don't think Adobe needs to imitate these apps that have come before, but they can certainly learn a lot.
Some basic QoL improvements I see are:

I've been trying to figure out a way to convert a logo to a 3D object file to use in After Effect now that it allows for 3D file to be imported into a composition. I've been reading online that Photoshop had a good 3D side to it but its been discontinued. Any other way to do this without the substance apps?

Hi, I'm making something in inDesign and it used to use whitney index. I tried to use a similar font but it ended up being uneven (we used both Whitney Index Black Round Light and Whitney Index White Round Light, and the new option has the black text with different spacing and bottom line). Any advice would be great!

I've been using canva to make promo materials for about a year and have been getting so much better with making cool stuff using pre-made outlines and tweaking them a lot to fit my style. I've noticed some limitations when trying to do stuff like editing designs and making shirt designs.
My work paid for the creative cloud 1 year subscription and a drawing tablet. Day 1 I realized I need to take a class and it's not nearly as easy as something like Canva.
I used Adobe Audition in college for sound editing and audio projects but thats the only one I know & it's like very basic knowledge.

I will no longer use CC and need to download all my files, but unfortunately not all my files show up on the CC desktop app, only on Web version and Mobile App (Where I can't download them in bulk). Basically there are images that should be appearing on the desktop app but they are not findable on the files section of the Desktop app. They only show up if I search each individual missing image by name, and only show up as a search result: if I press "Locate" I get a popup warning me: File not Found. Do I really have to download them manually from Mobile App to transfer to PC? Also since I wil ..read more
