Rupi came in on the 9th of January. His previous owner was no longer able to give him the care he needed.
He arrived with various ongoing health issues (ears, eyes, skin, lumps) and was extremely overweight. A lot of these issues have now been resolved and although some ongoing treatment may be needed he is ready to find a new home.
Rupi is a very sweet, friendly, affectionate boy who loves company. He knows sit and his name on command and is housetrained.
Rupi is good with other dogs and could live with one with the right introductions.
He would prefer a quiet home environment without young c ..read more

Judd came into the shelter from an inspector, his owner was not allowed to keep parrots. We have tested him and he is confirmed a male!!! he is around 15 years old
Judd is full of character, he likes to show off and be the centre of attention. If you are talking he talks louder!! He can speak and says some words well, he says Hello, Bye, Shut that door ( for all the Larry Grayson fans). He is learning step up and as you can see the training is going well. He picks things up quickly and is keen to learn new things. He does not like to be touched but that is improving, he can fly well and if he ..read more

Ray is a quiet boy who likes and enjoys one to one attention. He is slowly becoming more brave with us as each day goes buy and his little personality is now starting to show through. He arrived at the shelter as an un-neutered stray who befriended a neighbour as he was looking rather hungry and cold! Now Ray has been neutered, he is turning into a loving cat, but is a little shy to begin with. Ray would suit a more calm adult home, he would also like to be the only cat, and unfortunately isn’t keen on dogs.

Lucky is a gentle wimpy boy who is just starting to gain his confidence with us, and is now letting us give him some affection which he seems to enjoy. And he loves a good chin tickle! He was brought to us as his previous owner who unfortunately didn’t feel they had enough time him. Lucky would like a calm home with one or two people who can help him gain more confidence and who will give him the time he deserves. He wouldn’t cope with children, but would like a little garden of his own once he is brave enough. (Better photos soon!)

Muffin Is a rather lovely gentle girl who once settled is friendly and enjoys fuss. She also enjoys a good old nose about the cattery! Her owner gave Muffin up to the RSPCA in London through no fault of her own, and she has come to us for a fresh start. Muffin will need a quiet calm home where she can relax and feel safe, so unfortunately wouldn’t cope with young children. She would love her own garden to explore and nose about in. Muffin has a very sweet deformed ear which gives her real character.

Cypress is a gorgeous girl who seems to love some fuss once she knows you and is feeling comfortable in her surroundings. She came from a multi cat household, and was very nervous and shy when she arrived, but given time and patience, she has slowly gained more confident. Cypress would love a calmer home with a garden, she will also need a home without young children or dogs.

Sully came in on the 9th of March via an Inspector. There were 3 dogs in his previous home and they were not getting along with each other.
Sully is a little shy when first meeting new people but is a very bouncy, excitable pup once he knows you. He is very active and is learning to play with toys. Sully is still a very young boy who will need ongoing training.
Due to his past experiences Sully would be best as the only pet in the home. We are still assessing him with other dogs at the shelter.
Sully has no experience with children so will need an adult only home.
He is a new arrival who is st ..read more

Jasmine is a sweet girl who enjoys fuss, but she is also a little shy with new people and surroundings. She does love her food very much, and isn’t fussy! This also seems to help with her shyness, especially a few little treats. Originally Jasmine came from a multi cat household where she didn’t receive a lot of time or attention, so she has had to learn to trust people again, although she is doing very well with this. We feel that Jasmine will need a calm home with one or two adults only, who can with time help her gain some confidence. Unfortunately she wouldn’t cope with children as she lik ..read more

Humphrey came in on the 7th of March via another rescue. He was picked up as a stray and when his owner was traced they no longer wanted him. We think he is a Boxer crossed with a French Bulldog and who knows what else!
Humphrey is a friendly, affectionate boy who knows sit, paw and down on command. He walks nicely on the lead and enjoys playing with toys, especially a ball.
He has been friendly and sociable with other dogs so far and we will continue to assess him further. He has not been cat tested
Humphrey is a new arrival who is still being assessed.

Orville came in on the 7th of March via another rescue. He was an unclaimed stray.
Orville is a very bouncy, lively pup who knows how to sit but will need complete training. He is learning to walk nicely on the lead and enjoys attention and cuddles. He loves his food and likes playing with toys. He will need his own, secure garden and is not housetrained.
Orville is mixing well with other dogs but can be a little full-on to start with. His new owner will need to continue his socialising.
Orville is looking for an experienced owner with the time and patience to put into his training.
