Our museum in Tasmania has changed quite a bit since your visit in 2011 - the whole area is being redeveloped as the site for the Tasmanian University. We now have tram No.1 (body restored & on a reconstructed Brill 21E bogie) & hope to get it running within a year as No.29 that you rode on is overdue for a full rebuild. Planning on changing to battery power.

Frank Bagshaw was involved in the first test journey's of Newcastle 102 on May 5th.
The tram is seen here after arrival at Glory Mine. The test runs were successful with more to follow before the car is released for service.

We have not had much snow here in Chorlton unlike scenes on the TV News of Buxton and stranded cars on the M62 in Greater Manchester. Crich has not opened today because of snow. I went out yesterday looking for Metrolink and snow picture on the Rochdale line. I went as far as Shaw.

I went out on the Rochdale line today. Some pictures attached. It has been mostly a lovely sunny day apart from part of the return run when it was fine but cloudy.
