Deeside Dragons have announced that head coach Mike Clancy will be staying at the club for the 2023/24 season.
As well as coaching the Dragons for the second successive season, Clancy is the head coach for the GB Women’s National team and has almost a decade of coaching experience to draw on.
He will also be joined by assistant Matt Compton, who has been a mainstay in Deeside since 1999.
Marc Lovell returns as a player-coach for his 17th season in the Den, while Dave Clancy, goaltending coach for the Dragons and GB Women’s National team, has also committed himself to the club.

Raiders Ice Hockey have announced the signing of forward Zack Milton from Basingstoke Bison.
The 21-year-old has played the last two seasons at Basingstoke, where he made 120 appearances and bagged 53 goals and 81 assists.
The 2022/23 campaign proved to be one to remember for Milton, who was the highest-scoring Brit in the league last season with 64 points in 56 games.
He also made eight appearances for Guildford Flames in the EIHL, as part of a two-way contract.

It’s time to round off the WNIHL season with a massive Finals Weekend at Ice Sheffield, which will take place from Saturday 27 May to Monday 29 May.
The showcase event will see the UK’s top women’s sides lock horns to claim their respective championship titles.
There will be 13 games in total across four divisions: Elite, Division 1, Division 2 and Under 16s.
All senior games will be 3×20-minute periods, whilst the Under 16 games will be 3×15-minute periods.
Supporters can attend Finals Weekend in person or online by buying a weekend pass for just £5.

Telford Tigers netminder Brad Day has signed a two-year contract extension.
Day has won two national league titles and a national cup in his three years at the club so far, and he remains one of the top netminders in the league.
He will continue to wear his trademark number 30 shirt until at least the end of the 2024/25 season.
“Since I have arrived in Telford I have had nothing but good things to say about the club,” Day said.

Slough Jets have confirmed the arrival of Jack Goodchild ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Goodchild bagged 19 goals and nine assists for the club during the previous campaign, having also enjoyed stints at Bees Ice Hockey and Swindon Wildcats.
The young winger, who has featured for Great Britain at U20s level, will remain with Lukas Smital’s squad ahead of the upcoming NIHL Division 1 South season.

Bees Ice Hockey have snapped up Liam Morris ahead of the 2023/2024 NIHL National season.
The versatile two way player joins the Bees after having spent the past four seasons at Basingstoke Bison, who will not compete in the forthcoming season as their rink undergoes an upgrade programme.
Morris spent a number of years of his junior development in Canada as part of the Ontario Hockey Academy before moving onto Toronto Attack of the GMHL in 2014.

Leeds Knights have announced the signing of Jordan Griffin ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Griffin, 21, returns to the Castle for his third spell as a Knight, where he has made 91 appearances, picking up 27 points and over 150 penalty minutes.
The young defenceman played a vital role in Leeds Knights’ league and playoff championship victories last season, and Head Coach Ryan Aldridge was keen to bring him back into the fold.
