Raptors have announced that Adam “AdamJC” Colwell has joined the team, replacing Matthew “moz” Gelder. Eagle-eyed fans noticed the Irishman has already played with the team in UKIC Division 1 and the RES European Masters UK & Ireland qualifier, but now joins the team full-time. AdamJC is an experienced player within the UK & Ireland scene, but he has previously been stuck in ESEA Main as the in-game leader for K10 and The Last Resort. Verdant continued their strong domestic form by claiming victory in the UK and Ireland qualifier for RES European Masters Fall. Verdant came into the competition riding high after topping the UKIC Season 2 Division 1 regular season. That momentum continued as they defeated Guns4Hire, –Cookie- and EXO in best-of-ones, spurred on by impressive performances from recently acquired AWPer Remi “Diviiii” Alexandre. After Into The Breach’s failure at the PGL Copenhagen Major RMRs, Thomas “Thomas” Utting was benched, but now he returns to competition at the helm of a new team. Player1 Events undergo massive layoffs; Insomnia future uncertain

Insomnia Gaming Festival appears to be defunct after the entire staff of Player1 Events were laid off earlier this week, according to a report from Esports News UK. A follow-up report yesterday provided a screenshot of an email from Chris Duggan, the former Head of Sales and Content, and Natasha “tashnarr”, saying that Player1 Events is “no more”. Neither Player1 Events, nor their parent company Supernova Capital, have made any public comment on the matter since Monday’s layoffs. Invictum part ways with Sorex

In an announcement on X (formerly Twitter), Lorenzo “LTH” Venanzi the IGL for Invictum, announced that they have parted ways with Jack “Sorex” Renton-Cooper. During his two months on the roster Invictum competed in UKIC Division 1, where they currently sit 6th, and are ranked as the 11th in the UKCSGO rankings. Six months after signing the ex-Coalesce roster, K10 have parted ways with their team. The team, initially helmed by Ryan “dox” Young and latterly by Jacob “rezst” Hemming, has disbanded, though will play out the remainder of the UKIC season. K10 signed the team last December ahead of the UKIC Season 0 Division 1 Finals, and made a quite remarkable comeback from 2-10 down in the consolidation final to win the event outright, reverse-sweeping Verdant in the Grand Final for good measure. Ex-Preasy has been looking for a home after the organization released its team last month due to “challenges that lay within the core business that finances Preasy Esport”. In an unexpected turn of events, they will be representing Grannys Knockers. Granny Knockers is a well-known community in the UK scene, notably playing The Binmen in the EPIC.LAN 40 showmatch.
