After returning to UK CS in February of this year Reason Gaming picked up a new roster less than 24 hours after they dropped their previous team. The previous Reason Gaming team headlined by Alex “Byfield” Byfield didn’t have the most successful time under the organisation. At EPIC.LAN 41 they placed top 12 after losing to The Last Resort. Between EPIC.LAN 41 and 42 the main positives were that they made UKIC Divison 1 and came second at Insomnia72. With EPIC.LAN 42 still fresh in our minds, and being a weaker LAN, Reason Gaming seeded in pot one only achieved one placement higher losing to h ..read more

Coming into the EPIC.LAN 42, Verdant were the outright favourites, however, they did not come out the gates swinging. Entering playoffs they were able to upgrade their PCs because knocked-out players lent them their PCs for the remaining games. With the players no longer suffering from PC performance issues, their in-game performances skyrocketed – especially the new French AWPer Remi “Diviiii” Alexandre After a dominant Grand Final victory over Invictum, UKCSGO spoke to UKCSGO EPIC.LAN 42 MVP Diviiii about how the event went, their slow start, and what it is like coming to a UK LAN. UKCSGO
by Michael Moriarty

EPIC.LAN 42 was busy on Saturday, and that was in part due to the gauntlet of the Intermediate tournament taking place. Inters is an established classic of the UK Scene, home of fun competition and potential shenanigans to occur. Some of which, we’ve covered in the past. 19 Teams ended up in Inters this time around, and the format started off similarly to the main tournament with the teams split them up into four groups, two of which with five teams and two with four. The entire tournament finished on the day it started, every match being a best-of-one and designed as a test of endurance with ..read more

The Last Resort has had a bumpy time coming into EPIC.LAN 42. With people constantly on holiday and having to play with stand-ins, their turbulence was further accentuated by their IGL Rhys “Rhys” Stumbles leaving for another team. As we enter LAN, they have been utilising the brains of Marco “MMS” Salomone as a stand-in who has aided in them making the Upper Bracket Semi-Finals.  Before their game versus Verdant Elliott “Fett1s” Fettis sat down with UKCSGO to talk about their LAN, their roster issues, and his venture into coaching. Starting off, you had a very good first day and went th ..read more
